When does a comic style become a cartoon style and vice versa?

Fact is it does not matter, the one thing that is key to them both is humour and making someone smile, better still making both a child and an adult smile when they are reading together.

Mark Marderosian brings all his experience with major studios to creating well known characters that are instantly recognisable to kids and adults and make them smile. Mark then extends that into creating his own characters.

Jim Taylor creates his own characters with that little extra quirkiness and sometimes a little zany creeps in, but again they make everyone smile.

Jeff Dehut brings an almost eccentric element to his creations, even a little scariness but kids would never be afraid to see the humour and then smile.

Three different artists, three different styles, all cartoon and comic but what makes them similar is not their technique or their imagination but that key ingredient ‘smile’.
