Our Illustrators help kids to read
Seems there is a record low in children’s interest in books. Some kids just have not even started their reading journey.
Reading should be a pleasure and maybe kids are just being given the wrong books.
So, this is where great illustration can work. A child should be drawn in by the cover of a book and so should the adult who buys the book. Illustrated books should entertain and inform, spark imagination and educate. Only then will children read for life.
Look at Ana Afonso and David Martin for educational illustration.
Look at Gem Moss for cute and Charlotte Cleveland for quirky.
Look at Mark Marderosian and Jim Taylor for humour and Diane Dunning and Andrew Pickin for something different.
Great illustration can help restore children’s interest in reading.
