Mirko Filippi

Mirko (Franco) Filippi was born in Italy in 1966.

He attended the Istituto Statale d’Arte.

In 1991 he collaborated as an illustrator and cartoonist on various comic fanzines and later worked with the writer Marco Innocenti to create a series of comic projects.

Since 2003 he has worked in advertising, graphic design, and as an illustrator, and has organized creative design and illustration courses for children and adults.

He has illustrated several published children’s books and comics, and has also worked as a storyboard creator in the cinema industry.

Mirko lives with his wife, son, dog and cat.

His remaining time he fills with painting and photography.
