Gemma lives in Barcelona sharing a little house with a garden decorated with mosaics by her artist husband, and with her dog, cats, chickens and other animals as a source of inspiration.

She works with different mediums, gouache, coloured pencils, collage andnow digitally.

Gemma started her career in children's books working for publishers in Spain and Europe. After many years working for a Barcelona stationery company she has returned to children's books both as an illustrator and an author.

As well as writing and illustrating her own projects, Gemma works in Licensed character illustration and for international children’s book publishers.
