Gem’s style is quirky, cute and fun and she particularly enjoys creating illustrations for children that raise their awareness about current issues today.

Gem’s characters are always a great reflection of the personalities in the story whether they are the main character or just passing through the storyline.

This little octopus is obviously a main character but all the other little creatures just add a little sub storyline without detracting from our little hero.

Gem’s work is ideal for picture books but also pre-school novelty too.
